Oregon Elite Polo (OEP) is Back

12 Feb 2018 by Lise Grato

After taking last year off, Oregon Elite Polo (OEP) is back with goals of fielding JO teams in 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U boys and girls.
.
This will be a comprehensive training program for Advanced and Intermediate Level Athletes. Athletes must participate in an OEP Camp to be selected for the cooperative, competitive OEP Junior Olympic teams.

Athletes continue to play for their home team in local competitions and practices. Athletes change club affiliation prior to the JO Qualifying tournament (this only affects the team they play for at JO Quals and JO’s).

TRYOUT DATES
> 16U & 18U
Willamette Valley Water Polo will be hosting the two 16U-18U camp/tryouts on Feb 7 at Albany Community pool and on March 4th at the Kroc Center Pool in Salem. Players need to attend at least one camp to qualify for selection to the OEP JO’s team.

Alison Gregorka, US Olympian, has agreed to make a guest appearance and will be writing the practice plan for the 16U-18U camp.

> 12U &14U
The 12U &14U camp/tryout is on February 25th at the Tualatin High School Pool. Players need to attend this camp to qualify for selection to the OEP JO’s team.
